I Am Nothing But Stardust and Borrowed Energy is a painting inspired by the song Spaceship by Kesha. I was challenged to create a piece of artwork based off of this song by a dear friend and was surprised by how much it aligned with my own feelings about life and our connection to the universe. As a big fan of Carl Sagan and astrophysics in general, I was happy to hear a pop star write so beautifully about how we are from stardust and to stardust we return.
This print measures 5” x 7” (12.5 cm x 17.5 cm) and is on an archival matte paper to best replicate the conditions of the originating piece. Each print has been embellished with gold ink and signed by me, the artist.
Remember, we are the universe consciously experiencing itself.
